Veteran “Dancing with the Stars” dancer Artem Chigvintsev was arrested Thursday on suspicion of domestic violence in Napa County, California, according to arrest records.
County Public Booking Report Reports say the 42-year-old Chigvintsev was arrested shortly before 10 a.m. on charges of violating the law. California Penal Code 273.5(a)Intentionally inflicting physical injury that results in a painful condition on the victim who is a current or former spouse, partner, or member of the cohabiting family.
Chigvintsev, who competed on 13 seasons of DWTS, lives north of San Francisco in Yountville with his wife, former WWE star Nikki Garcia, and their young son. Chigvintsev partnered with Garcia, formerly known as Nikki Bella, on season 25 of DWTS in 2019. They married in 2022.

It is not clear who the victim is in the alleged domestic violence case. CBS News Bay Area has contacted the Napa County Sheriff's Office for additional information.
Chigvintsev was released from custody at 2:18 p.m. Thursday after posting $25,000 bail, According to the county release database.
On Monday, Garcia posted photos and videos on her Instagram account to mark her wedding anniversary with Chigvintsev.
Chigvintsev posted his own memories of their wedding anniversary on his Instagram account on Monday.
“Happy anniversary my love, I can’t see my life without you,” the post caption read. “You are my everything.”
