Curtley Bell signs with the Western Force until the end of the season – Sports News (Trending Perfect)

“Courtley has reached the pinnacle of the game during his playing career, making three World Cup finals appearances, earning nearly 100 caps for the Wallabies and winning a Super Rugby title. He also has very positive relationships with some of our current squad members which was important in the decision .

“Having coached KB before, I know he is a player who will always help develop young talent and add to the team’s leadership on the field.”

Last month, Bale showed impressive touches at number five for Randwick in their 25-18 loss to Brothers, providing enough evidence to the Force that he could be a useful signing.

Force CEO Niamh O'Connor was impressed by Bell's desire to return to elite rugby and contribute to the club's season.

“We know where we want to take the club and Courtley is an exciting addition to our plans for growth and success,” O'Connor said.

“During our discussions with Courtley, he has shown us his intense determination and passion for the game. He is very keen to make the most of this opportunity to play Super Rugby again.

“We look forward to welcoming Courtley and his young family to the club.”

Bell's career included stints at Racing Metro in France and WAPS in England. He is the Waratahs' second-most capped player (148) and the Force will be his third Australian side, following a short spell with the Melbourne Rebels.

Bell said he was grateful to the Force for giving him the opportunity to return to Super Rugby after a long absence.

“I am excited to join the force and look forward to moving to Perth with my family,” Bell said.

“There is huge potential across the Force playgroup and I am keen to support the momentum they are building. I know I have a lot to offer and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue playing the game I love.
