Ukraine is likely to see a cabinet reshuffle after three ministers resigned.

Their requests will be considered in the next parliamentary session, parliament speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.

The ministers involved are Oleksandr Kamyshin, who is in charge of the defense industry, Justice Minister Denys Malyuska, and Ecology Minister Ruslan Strelets.

Vitaly Koval, head of the State Property Fund responsible for privatization, also wants to leave his post.

The leader of the parliamentary faction of the presidential “Serve the People” party, David Arakhamia, announced other changes in the government to come.

According to Arakhamia, new appointments are planned in more than half of the ministries, and the final list will be announced at the parliamentary bloc meeting on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, it will also be necessary to replace the head of the electricity grid operator Ukrinergo after reports that the state-owned company's board of directors has dismissed its head Volodymyr Kudrytsky.

Kudritsky has been heading Ukrenergo since 2020, but has recently been blamed for insufficient protective measures for the country's power substations against attacks by Russian drones and missiles.

Since a massive Russian missile and drone attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure early last week, Ukraine has once again experienced hours of unplanned power outages.

Ukraine has been fighting off a Russian invasion for more than two and a half years. The government led by Denys Shmyhal has been in power since March 2020.
